Welcome to the Beggs Rural Fire Association's website. Beggs Rural provides Fire, Rescue and EMS services to the area surrounding Beggs, OK (population approximately 4607) and through aid agreements, to the City of Beggs (population 1232) as well. Beggs Rural Fire Association was founded in 1982 and has continued to grow and procure useful equipment so that firefighters have the tools that they need to combat the threat of fire in a safe and efficient manner.

Currently, the fire department operates out of two stations. The first is the station located at 106 Broadway in Beggs, OK. The second is located south of the intersection at 251st and Highway 75. In these two stations are housed 4 engine/pumpers, 4 tankers, 6 brush trucks, two bulldozers and command vehicles. There is a total of approximately 19,500 gallons of water available to be moved to the scene of a fire at any time. The locations of the stations allow prompt response times to the entire district. Through automatic and mutual aid agreements with surrounding fire departments, even more resources are available at a moments notice.
